Hello! I'm Jakob,
(Product) Designer + more.
I’m based in Charlotte, NC, working on making digital products simple and reliable. My work lives in both SaaS tools/internal platforms and consumer experiences.
I started my career in visual design and advertising, but moved into more complex systems involving dashboards, workflows, and tools used daily by researchers and teams. My experience has shaped how I view many of the aspects of a product including research, business, experience design, and branding/marketing.
Outside of product design, I love getting more into business and tech, trying new restaurants, and traveling to different cities. I can't stay in one place for too long..
The values
behind my work
Honesty
I communicate openly, give feedback, and focus on what truly matters for the outcome.
Adaptability
I stay flexible, learn quickly, and adjust to challenges without losing direction or focus.
Temperance
I believe in economy, aiming to make things that embody 'nothing more, nothing less.'
Excellence
While it can be dangerous when unbalanced, I love the endless pursuit of (near) perfection.
